Shippo started on my kitchen counter, with a chipped bowl, a whisk that kept losing its shape and a cat who insisted on watching. I wanted the ten minutes after work to feel like a small ceremony.
So we made bowls with ears, painted every face by hand and gave the whisk its own little cat to rest on. I hope your bowl becomes part of your evenings too.

Two scoops, 70 ml of water at 80°C, whisk in an M shape for 20 seconds until fine foam covers the top.
ラテ · LATTEWarm latte
Whisk the classic with a little less water, then pour in 150 ml of steamed milk. Oat works beautifully.
アイス · ICEDIced
Whisk with 50 ml of cold water, pour over ice and top up with cold milk. Watch the layers settle.

Is matcha included?
No, the set is just the tools. Any ceremonial-grade matcha you like will do.
Will my cat look exactly like the photo?
Very close, but every face is painted by hand, so yours will be one of a kind.
Can I put the bowl in the dishwasher?
Please wash it by hand. The painted face and the unglazed foot last much longer that way.
How do I look after the whisk?
Rinse it in warm water without soap, shake it out and rest it head down on the cat keeper.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. It ships in a kraft gift box with a washi paper band, so there is nothing to wrap. For couples, most people pick the pair.
How long does delivery take and how is it packed?
We ship within 24 hours, so it usually arrives in 2 to 4 working days. The bowl is wrapped in three layers and the kraft box goes into a second, plain shipping box.
What if the cat arrives broken?
Send us a photo within 7 days and we ship a new one straight away. You keep the pieces, no need to send anything back.
